Into the Autumn Flowers
Suddenly Last week Amin Bhai showed me some sample & asked if I’m free on Saturday. This is how we planned this shoot. I didn’t cover their wedding but I knew them ( advantage of an editor ). We chalked down a lot of things but the weather was in bad mood. Mother nature decided to pour upon a lot of showers in our shooting area. Yet we managed a scenic session of the ever-smiling Imara & Mahbub.
So we had to take a decision to abort or to continue with the situation. We choose to continue. Imara was too brave to flaunt her polka dot saree and give us a few looks with her pink umbrella. We later taunted her that some of the building colours did match with her outfit and was it coincidental? And yes, it was raining all the time & we did the shoot in it. Mahbub Bhai & Imara Apu are too generous soul to work with.
What to do when lots of rainwater here and there, we make reflections to work with. I always cherish the idea to shoot with the 35–85 combo in outdoors, it helps me to compose the desired outputs as I’ve planned.
Want to share something special about our all-time positive Imara apu. She’s a fighter, it rained, the saree wrenched in water, but the show must go on. The beauty of the majority of Checkmate brides is the character they pose is admirable. Their delicate attitude towards handling any tough situation helped me to compose my shots for this “Kashful” special shoot.
The bond between the couple is something to cherished for. Mahbub Bhai and his bride, co-operated with the team keeping in mind the weather were on its own mind, take a bow from me. Keeping in mind I tried to avoid some regular composition stigma and used simple elements to design and execute the shoot, enjoy the set of photos shared.
