World’s Strongest Word
Our 1st word, the most emotional, the constant, the synonym of love, affection and care, no other word can replace. In বাংলা, "মা" is word for everything. Though “Happy Mother’s Day” can be taken as a marketing gimmick by many, but to shower love for Mother doesn’t require any specific…
Integrating into the system
Let me tell you a story, the story of an Engineering student who fell in love with photography. Who started way early during his University days, established a brand in a divisional district, dragged back to Dhaka during the Covid-19 pandemic and with a deep desire to pursue photography, became…
Into the Autumn Flowers
Suddenly Last week Amin Bhai showed me some sample & asked if I’m free on Saturday. This is how we planned this shoot. I didn’t cover their wedding but I knew them ( advantage of an editor ). We chalked down a lot of things but the weather was in bad mood. Mother nature decided to pour upon a lot of showers in our shooting area. Yet we managed a scenic session of the ever-smiling Imara & Mahbub.
Contrasty Yet Compatible: The Tale of “ P” & “ N ”
Couples are made in heaven, an age-old dogma settled in the dust. We might come with fabricated stories around us but even in the 21st centuries, some narratives are as pure as it looks. The moment I met Prina & Navid, a working couple raised in the urban settings at…
Doodling the “ Ray-way ”
Craftsmanship is something embedded in Raysa, one of the coolest brides’ in 2019–20 season. A persona with multitasking abilities, our very own Prattaye is not only an athlete who’s competing at the highest level in Women’s Basketball in Bangladesh but also doodling her way out in the most creative way possible. As a Masterpiece™ Bride from the house of Checkmate™, Raysa had a fireside chat with M Aminur Rahman, opening up about her passion with brushes and digital art.
Outbound Weddings: Mymensingh Chronicles
When I first heard about the Mymensingh shoot the thought was it’d be just another day at the office. The perception changed in seconds after reaching Mymensingh when we met “ Ajwad & Jeba “ the couple dearest. Their will to participate in any extent for a better photograph made us go crazy on par with them. It was a 3-day assignment every day on a different location. Not like Dhaka weddings, the lush green, mustard field, impeccable beauty of Shashi Lodge and infinite frames of Bangladesh Agricultural University we were in awe of the experience of the shoot. We became a family to them. An amazing understanding & communication with the clients is the key to the out of the box photography. — TMz Ahmed.
